Cakesicle Filling Ideas/Cakesicle Flavors: You can use any flavor of cake mix such as birthday cakesicles, pink cakesicles, strawberry cake popsicles, white cakesicles, pastel cakesicles, red velvet cake popsicle, lemon cakesicles, vanilla cakesicles, chocolate cakesicles and carrot cake cakesicles. You can also make brownie cakesicles.
Candy Melts or Chocolate Chips: I recommend using candy melts for this recipe if possible. They tend to melt the most easily, especially for beginning bakers. Alternatively, I like Kroger (Fry’s Food) Private Selection White Chocolate Chips. The main ingredient is cocoa butter so they are higher quality and melted really well in the microwave. You can also use the white chocolate chips to make any color with food coloring or food gel.
